Physics Offerings

Offering AP Physics at all levels, Academic Level HS Physics, University Physics (algebra and calculus based), and more.  Other subjects are available by request and through connections that I have made over 16 years in education.

Virtual Tutoring

Engage in virtual tutoring sessions lasting approximately one hour. Students have the flexibility to schedule 1:1 sessions or join group sessions for collaborative learning.

Group Rates

Tailored tutoring for various physics courses upon request. Group lessons are great for review sessions before exams or practice sessions over finals review week and are available at a discounted per student rate.

Flexible Learning

I focus my tutoring on the individual student or group needs.  Whether it be exam prep or concept reinforcement, I find what the student is missing and provide it with the resources at my disposal.

I’m Amanda Galbincea, M.Ed., a physics educator with more than 16 years of experience teaching high school and tutoring students of all ages. Recently, I made the leap from full-time high school teaching to focus on what I love most: teaching my adjunct community college courses and tutoring students one-on-one.

Over the course of my career, I’ve taught AP Physics, IB Physics (SL & HL), and University Physics I & II. I’ve also written complete year-long curricula aligned with Texas TEKS, AP, and IB standards, and supported not only students in the classroom but also teachers as a traveling coach with the National Math and Science Initiative.

My students — both in high school and in tutoring — have gone on to earn high marks on AP exams and to thrive in their college physics courses. Seeing students build confidence and succeed is the most rewarding part of what I do. I also know firsthand how stretched thin today’s teachers are. My hope is that by supporting students individually, I not only help them succeed, but also send that confidence and clarity back into the classroom — lightening the load for their teachers and strengthening the learning community as a whole.

At heart, I’m a physics nerd. I love to read about physics, think about physics, and talk about physics. This subject has been the passion of my adult life, and I want your student to not only succeed but also discover a sense of excitement and ownership in learning it.

I’m here to answer any questions you might have — thank you for visiting!
